Several months after acquisition of the land in one of the biggest industrial zones in Turkey followed by an intensive planning, our daughter company Heneken Metalürji Döküm started construction of a new secondary aluminum smelter with annual capacity of 36 000 MT of aluminum alloys.

Our goal is to actively participate in the low-carbon economy and this new factory is fully under the planned goal. This greenfield project is strategically located within Aliaga Alosbi industrial zone, covering over 10 million m² and being only a short distance from major global logistics routes.
This would be second production facility of aluminum alloys in the Group, developed in line with the long-term perspective and objective of making Heneken one of the leaders in metal industry, not only trading but also producing its own products. At the first stage our new factory in Turkey will employ around 100 people.
A 10 000 m² production facility building with fully integrated administrative building should be completed in middle of this year, while estimated start of production is set during the summer of 2023.
Aliağa Organized Industrial Zone (ALOSBİ – (www.alosbi.org.tr) was established in 1997 as an Organized Industrial Zone. With its 10 million m² it´s one of the biggest industrial parks in Turkey.
