Magnesium is a silvery white metal similar in appearance to aluminium, but weighs one-third less.
Even its melting point 650°C is very close to that of aluminium. With a density of only 1.738 grams per cubic centimetre, it is the lightest structural metal known.
We supply various origins, quality grades and shapes:
- Pure Mg min. 99,8%,
- Pure Mg min. 99,9%,
- all grades with possible surface treatment and in shape of ingots, sows, cut-ends or T-bars.
Magnesium in its pure form lacks sufficient strength for most structural application. However, the addition of alloying elements improves its physical properties to such an extent that both cast and wrought magnesium alloys are widely used particularly where light weight along with high strength are required.

Magnesium alloys are well-known for being the lightest structural alloys.
Important fact is that the new and old Mg parts can be remelted perpetually. Recycled magnesium “consumes” only 3 kWh per kg, 10 times less than Mg from a primary production. Therefore, we trade various classes of Mg scrap and offer tolling services to our partners.
